Shop
The Shop (the Amber Exchange) is where you spend Amber on permanent upgrades and catch-up supplies. Upgrades are the main draw: each has a number of ranks, and every rank costs more than the last. Supplies are always-available consumables and materials priced so that buying them is never cheaper than making them yourself — the shop is a convenience and a safety net, not an optimal source.
Upgrades
Every upgrade is bought with Amber over several ranks, each rank costing more than the last. The table lists what each does, its rank cap, the total to fully max it, and every rank's price in order (a repeated tail is written "then X ×N").
| Upgrade | Effect per rank | Max ranks | Total ( Amber) | Cost by rank ( Amber) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Reinforced Vault | +2 Bank slots | 50 | 2,100,500 | 500, 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, 8,000, 16,000, 32,000, 64,000, 128,000, then 45,000 ×41 |
| Extra Stall | +1 stable stall | 9 | 1,022,000 | 2,000, 4,000, 8,000, 16,000, 32,000, 64,000, 128,000, 256,000, 512,000 |

| Sharpened Tools | +2% Foraging, Logging, Mining and Fishing speed | 5 | 93,000 | 3,000, 6,000, 12,000, 24,000, 48,000 |
| Sturdy Bandages | -10% injury recovery time | 3 | 28,000 | 4,000, 8,000, 16,000 |

| Trader's Charter | Rank 1 opens the Trading Post; each rank +25% daily stock and demand | 4 | 100,000 | 2,500, 7,500, 22,500, 67,500 |
| Stasis Vault | Encase +2 dinos outside the stable - upkeep and injuries freeze until release | 5 | 644,375 | 10,000, 25,000, 62,500, 156,250, 390,625 |
| Foreman's Whistle | +1 hired-hand background task slot (first slot at Taming 25) | 2 | 240,000 | 60,000, 180,000 |
| Assay Bench | +10% rare-material find rate | 3 | 195,000 | 20,000, 50,000, 125,000 |
| Bounty Stipend | +1 Contract Board slot (unlocks at Hunting 40) | 1 | 60,000 | 60,000 |
The Reinforced Vault runs its first nine ranks on a doubling curve, then every rank from 10 to its cap of 50 is a flat 45,000 Amber - +100 Bank slots in all. The Offline Satchel raises how long progress accumulates while you're away, from 18 hours up to a 24-hour cap. The Trader's Charter both unlocks the Trading Post and grows how much it stocks and demands. The Stasis Vault parks extra Creatures in preserving amber, freezing upkeep and injuries until release. The Assay Bench improves rare-material find rates and the Bounty Stipend adds a permanent Contract Board slot.
Mark-priced upgrade
The Field Ledger (+1 Dispatch mission slot, single rank) is not bought with Amber — it is priced in Fang Marks at the Mark Exchange and does not appear on the Amber Shop page. See Contracts for how Fang Marks are earned.
The Exotic Broker
Once your total skill level reaches 600 — or you win any Alpha-tier arena fight — the shop unlocks a second tier, the Exotic Broker. It sells the game's deepest bank storage (the Master Vault, +8 slots per rank over 49 ranks) plus late-game economy boosts for the Trading Post, Contract Board, and Villagers. See Exotic Broker for the full list.
Supplies
Supplies are always in stock and can be bought repeatedly. Their price scales with the quantity per purchase, and always sits above their sell value so the sell-then-buy loop can never turn a profit.
