Pays for the Rite of Refinement — re-casting an already-forged piece and keeping whichever cast turns out better — as a substitute for the Rite's usual half-materials bill. The Rite itself is unlocked separately, past the rift/Ascension gate. Also sold at the Rift Bazaar (120 Rift Shards, Ascension count 1+) and the separate Warden's Bounty Exchange (800 Marks).
