The Map (the Valley Map) is a hand-drawn explorer's chart of all ten Biomes, inked on a tanned hide. It gives you an at-a-glance view of the whole valley and doubles as a quick way to jump between regions.

What it shows

  • Your marker pulses wherever you are currently working.
  • banners mark biomes whose Guardian you have defeated.
  • active digs and dispatched squads appear with live countdowns.
  • rival war-camps — fifteen tribes hold camps across the valley; beat one and your banner flies over its camp.
  • rogue-clan outposts — eight hostile camps your tribe's strike teams can raid; a captured outpost flies your banner for seven days.
  • Your Homestead is shown on the map.

A living valley

The map is populated with dozens of ambient fellow-survivor camps — campfires scattered across the biomes, busiest in the starter regions and sparse at the frontier. Hover a campfire to see who is there and what they are doing. They are world flavor only (the same valley for everyone at the same hour, drifting as the day turns) and do not affect your game.

Click any biome on the map to jump straight to Hunting there. The chart is drawn to fit a phone screen with no sideways scrolling, and is generated from a single world seed rather than images, so it loads instantly.
