Villagers are named NPCs who move into your Homestead as it grows. Once your houses reach the levels they require, each villager settles in and periodically delivers a small gift basket of Items on the shared game clock — a passive trickle of food, herbs and materials with no upkeep.

How villagers work

  • A villager moves in automatically once the required house structure reaches the required level — there is nothing to manage; their presence follows directly from your housing.
  • Each resident villager delivers a gift basket every 6 hours of game time.
  • Baskets arrive on a shared timer, so building the house chain steadily grows your passive gift income.

The villagers

Villager Role Moves in when Gift basket (every 6h)
Maru the Cook Cook Thatch Hut level 3 Roasted Meat ×3, Berry Skewer ×2
Tilda the Herbalist Herbalist Timber Lodge level 3 Glowcap ×2, Fern Poultice ×1
Bren the Quartermaster Quartermaster Stone House level 3 Stone ×6, Cycad Log ×4, Iron Ore ×2

Because each villager is tied to a later house in the chain, they arrive in order as you build up from the Thatch Hut through the Timber Lodge to the Stone House.

  • Homestead — the house structures that invite villagers in
  • Items — the goods delivered in gift baskets
