'''Pets''' are ultra-rare hatchling companions — one for each skill, thirteen in all. Unlike stable [[Creatures|dinos]], pets are not tamed or bred: one simply '''appears''' one day mid-grind, as pure long-tail luck. Each pet lives on its own collection strip and grants a tiny, permanent, always-on bonus.

== How Pets Are Found ==

* Every completion of a skill's action has a very small chance — about '''1 in 2,000''' — to turn up that skill's pet.
* The find is steady and dependable rather than a true gamble: keep working a skill and its pet will eventually arrive. Each pet can only be found once, and finding it fires the biggest celebration in the game.
* [[Skills|Farming]] pets arrive per harvest (a harvest is its "completion").
* There are '''thirteen''' to find, one per skill. Collecting all thirteen earns a title.

== Effects ==

Each pet's passive switches on the moment you find it and stays on forever. Most grant '''+2% speed''' to their own skill; the Expeditions and Farming pets grant a themed bonus instead.

These bonuses are small on their own but stack with other always-on collection bonuses (such as completed [[Museum]] wings) as your collection fills out.
