== v0.57.3 — Dino Jobs — Every Dino Works Its Diet == * Dinos have jobs now. Any healthy stabled dino can take its own background gathering job — not just the one buff worker per skill. HERBIVORES forage, log and mine; CARNIVORES fish and hunt; OMNIVORES do any of it. Hunting is a hired-hand trade for the first time: a carnivore on a hunt job brings home its guaranteed meat on the same no-rng background clock as every other hand (chance drops, XP and rares stay hands-on, as always). * THE DROVER'S PADDOCK is a new homestead structure: each of its 21 levels adds one dino job slot, so with the Foreman's Whistle the crew ceiling climbs from 3 all the way to 24 working dinos. * PICKING A JOB now works like the Tribe page: the Stable's Hired hands tab is a crew board, and each dino opens a job sheet — every trade its diet allows, banded with a "Best for them" shortlist, every rate priced for THAT dino (veteran levels and niche included), locked rows shown with their unlock reason. * Existing background tasks carry over automatically — the dino that held each skill's task simply keeps it as its own job. A task the new diet rule forbids (a herbivore that had been fishing, say) stops with a note, exactly like the old boot sweeps. * A jobbed dino eats from its diet's pantry like any working dino, pauses while hungry, and can't be dispatched, stasis-cased or sent to fight while on the job — pull it off the job first (joining your pack does that automatically, as it always has for workers).
