== v0.47.9 — Groundwork: The Amber Door Gets Its Hinges == * GROUNDWORK, NOT A CHANGE YOU CAN FEEL YET. Primal Ascension — the prestige system where a finished valley can be traded for permanent power — has started building, and this update lays its invisible machinery: the master list that marks every piece of your save as RESETS or STAYS, the score calculator, the payout rule, the refusal logic that names anything still in flight, and the rebuild routine itself. None of it is switched on, nothing is visible, and no save changes shape by a single byte. * The master list is checked by the computer: every jar on the save shelf must carry its label or the game refuses to compile, so no future update can ever forget to decide what ascension does to its data. A test also walks a real player save through a full rebuild and proves nothing marked STAYS is ever confiscated. * Three more steps follow before anything shows: the numbers (perks, tiers, weights), the art, and finally the Ascension page and the ceremony itself.
