== v0.57.9 — The Warden's Survey Shows You The Pile == * '''The survey is a chart and one button now.''' It used to be ten rows, one per ground, each reprinting the same list of grounds you could pay with — eighteen buttons for a choice with two inputs, one click per map traded, and rows offering to sell you an 81st map of ground you were one skeleton from finishing. * The new header draws every ground you have opened: maps held against digs that ground still owes. That picture is the whole problem — your stock is parked at the two wings you nearly finished, and everything you still owe is somewhere else. * Under it, one conversion. The game picks the wing you are CLOSEST to being able to finish but cannot fund yet, tells you what your spare buys there — "85 spare maps → 17 Scorched Wash digs, enough to finish the wing" — and does the whole trade in one click. Drag the slider for less, or aim it at any other ground. * SPARE now means something exact: maps beyond what a wing can still use, worked out from the skeletons it owes and its own skull rate. The converter only ever spends those, so it can never eat a map you were counting on. * And it collapses. The Survey is housekeeping wedged between the dig picker and the cave picker, so it folds to a single line that names the opportunity — open it when you want it. * On a phone the chart turns on its side and the button goes full width, instead of wrapping ten rows into twenty-eight lines of near-identical blocks.
