== v0.55.11 — The Grand Hall Was Underselling Itself == * '''Tester report.''' "Says 2 percent faster forever grand hall but I see 5 percent increase in drop down bonuses." Both numbers were on screen at once and they disagreed. THE 5% IS THE REAL ONE — the banner was the liar, and it has been corrected. * THE GRAND HALL HAS PAID 5% SINCE v0.36.8. Mounting every species in the valley makes every skill in the game work 5% faster, forever, and it has done exactly that for twenty versions. The speed breakdown you opened was reading the live multiplier straight out of the engine; the [[Museum]] page's celebration banner was reciting a number typed into it back in v0.28.5, when the prize really was 2%, and never touched again when the balance pass raised it. * '''Nothing got faster and nothing got slower.''' If your hall is already open you have been collecting the full 5% all along — this is the page catching up to your save, not a buff. The dropdown was right about your character the whole time. * '''The banner no longer knows its own number.''' It now asks the engine what the Grand Hall is worth and prints the answer, so does the "mount all 57 to open the Grand Hall" promise on the way there. Both read whatever the game actually applies — if that value is ever tuned again, the words move with it the same day.
