== v0.56.0 — The Curator's Survey — A Finished Wing Keeps Paying == * Finishing a museum wing used to end it. The Museum was the only thing in the valley that wanted a dig map, a journal page, a skull or a fossil — so the moment a wing stood complete, everything that ground produced turned to vendor trash, and the Curator's Desk that bought your pages simply VANISHED off the page while the Delving panel and the Bank both went on pointing at it. * The desk changes job instead. A completed wing's Desk stops selling skulls and starts buying your leavings: that ground's dig maps, its Field Journal pages, and any duplicate skull whose skeleton already stands. Each is stamped into a CURATOR'S SEAL — maps by tier (11 at the deepest ground, 20 at the shallowest), pages at the Desk's own price, and a spare skull at three pages' worth, which is exactly what the dig already pays you for a duplicate. * THE MUSEUM'S PATRONS STOCK A SHELF, and amber cannot buy any of it. The Museum Annex lends you its back rooms (+4 bank slots a rank, six ranks); the Warden's Stasis Wing keeps two more dinos in amber a rank; and the DEEP SURVEY TEAM funds a permanent extra excavation crew. * That last one is the point. Dig slots have only ever come from the Delving ladder — which stops at level 75 — and one 0.2% relic, so every level after 75 added maps and no way to spend them. The Deep Survey Team is the first excavation slot in the game you can simply go and earn, and it is bought with the exact surplus those levels produced. * IT OPENS PER WING, not at 57/57. Every ground whose wing already stands is surveying the moment you load; the ones you are still filling keep their old Desk, unchanged, and a skull you still need can never be sold out from under you. The shelf is priced as a long tail — the whole thing is roughly 335 hours of surplus — and it re-stocks after the Amber Door, so the sink renews instead of running out.
