* '''Fixed.''' Finishing a dig always announced "A skull surfaced!" — even when it plainly had not, and the items listed underneath were four fossils and a journal page. Collecting a dig now says "[[Excavation]]" and lists what you actually got; the skull banner is kept for digs that really do turn one up.
* FIELD JOURNALS, EXPLAINED WHERE YOU EARN THEM. The [[Excavation]] panel now tells you the other half of the story: every dig that does NOT surface a skull banks a Field Journal page for that ground, and a dig that finds a skull you already own banks three. Collect enough and the Curator's Desk on the [[Museum]] page trades them for any skull from that ground — no luck involved.
* A chip per ground shows how close you are — "Cavern Depths 8/12" — and lights up the moment a journal is full.
